Wow. I had just posted to another thread, but now I think I see what has happened. If they have sold out to Apple, then all is lost, there will not be a reveral, this is a done deal, and life as we knew it is over. It also means that they suck big time, and all for a few sheckles. Do they really need the money that bad. Sounds like a deal with the devil to me. If so, I hope they burn in Hell.

Yes, I do feel entitled to this music for free. I paid their salaries for years with constant touring; I saw them over 400 times. I bought every recording, audio and video, that they ever officially released, bought books and tee shirts. And all along, there was the understanding that we could have the shows. Lying, back-stabbing scum.

I wouldn't put the Apple deal beyond the realm of possibility and if that is the case they do indeed suck. I saw on the official website that Bobby and Ratdog were playing some Carnival Cruise which is sorta lame.

I do _not_ feel entitled to anything for free from the Dead, since I have never given anything to them for free (I always wanted a concert, T-shirt, CD, etc. in return). One exception - I did give them my respect, believing I'd always had it in return. This secrecy ain't it.
